EVS4ALL at CONNECTOR 2.015 in Cluj!

19 June 2015

We’re excited to announce that EVS4ALL will be participating at CONNECTOR 2.015 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from July 1-5 with a group of volunteers and mentors!

CONNECTOR 2.015 is a learning event that aims to bring together educators and students, youth workers and trainers, teachers and facilitators to create a hybrid learning environment with a focus on community and experimentation. Through participatory and interactive methods, over the course of five days, practitioners and participants will network, exchange methods and share tools to learn from each other and in a community environment. (For more information on CONNECTOR, click here.)

One of our project partners, Itenéraire International, will lead a course called “EVS4ALL – Digital Technology” The workshop will draw upon the digital technology experiences and expertise of EVS4ALL partners, and tools which have been designed or applied successfully in youth work will be presented and shared! Some of these include a skills assessment tool and a series of tutorials on YouTube which have been used regularly over the past few years by EVS4ALL partners, but have not yet been shared – another reason we are so excited for CONNECTOR!

In Cluj, we are looking to engage with volunteers and professionals on what barriers they have experienced or perceive in cross boarder volunteering for young people. We would also like to gather the views of those that have been involved in EVS, on their experiences and learning during the activity, in particular what tools, such as digital learning (and others) they have used and which ones they find most beneficial.
